2. Product Description
89mm water well drill rod is made of alloy steel, with joints at both ends, and friction welding is used between the joint and the pipe body. It is used to deepen the wellbore, transmit torque, and form a channel for drilling fluid circulation.
Usually the threads are standard API connections, like 2 3/8″ API REG thread, 2 3/8″ IF thread, etc. According to customers request, from 1000mm to 6000mm length of pipe are available.

Water Well Drill Rod is mainly used in various drilling constructions such as borehole water well drilling, geothermal drilling etc.
4. Core Product Features
- Process of End-upsetting can meet the API 5D standard
- After the heat treatment of thickened pipe, the steel grade can reach G105 or S135.
- The forging process and heat treatment of the pipe joint can be up to API SPEC7-1 standard.
- Welding area adopts ausforming process. Performance of welding line can reach the API SPEC 7 standard.
